Delete your Nuclyo account

How to request deletion now, and the in-app flow required for launch.

Request account deletion

You can currently request deletion of your Nuclyo app account by emailing support@nuclyo.com. You do not need to reinstall the app to use this route.

Email a deletion request

If the button does not open your email app, send an email to support@nuclyo.com with the subject Nuclyo account deletion request.

  1. Use your registered email address where possible, or identify the registered email address or phone number for the account.
  2. State that you want your Nuclyo account and associated personal information deleted.
  3. We may ask for proportionate verification that you hold the account. Never send passwords, one-time sign-in codes or device access codes. Provide identity documents only through a separately explained, necessary secure verification process.

Customer support is also available at +91 98661 23707. A telephone call is not required to submit an email request.

What the request covers

The request concerns your Nuclyo account and its associated personal information, including relevant home, device, event and service-provider records. Before processing, we will explain any information that must be retained, why and for how long or under what expiry criteria. Another person’s independent account is not yours to delete.

Deletion can affect control of devices, shared homes, linked voice services and playback access. Ask about transferring a shared home before losing access. Ownership transfer must not be used as an indefinite barrier to account deletion.

SD-card footage and recordings downloaded to a phone may need to be erased separately. Account deletion is not proof that these copies have been erased. Do not assume a factory reset or unpairing erases an SD card.

Timing and confirmation

Pre-release process: requests are currently handled through support. We will give you the verification steps and expected processing timeframe, explain delays, and distinguish an accepted request from completed deletion. We have not yet verified a single completion period for all app and provider systems.

Tuya’s documented SDK account cancellation has a one-week waiting period, and signing in during that period cancels the request. The exact behavior in the Nuclyo build must be checked; the week is not a guarantee that every record or backup is erased. Firebase’s documented deletion of installation identifiers can take up to 180 days after its deletion API is called. Any applicable provider or backup retention must be explained separately.

In-app deletion is planned

The launch must include an easy-to-find in-app Delete Account flow. It is still under implementation and verification. The planned flow will allow you to verify your identity, review the effects and submit directly in the app without a required separate email, call or support conversation. We will publish the implemented menu path and timing before release.

Deleting the app, signing out or removing a device does not delete your account.
